The Tyco Pontiac Stocker Valvoline #75 is a radio controlled stock car, manufactured by Taiyo (Japan), and released into the US, UK, and other countries worldwide by Tyco in 1989.
This Valvoline #75 model is the 27Mhz variant that was sold alongside the 49Mhz Tyco STP Stocker, encouraging parents and friends to purchase one of each car, allowing kids (and adults!) to race each other.

Features and Performance
This series of Stock Car models was never designed for speed or performance like their 9.6V brethren such as the 1986 Tyco Turbo Stocker 7-Eleven and Motorcraft variants. Intended to be visually accurate, and easy to drive for younger kids, these were 4xAA models (approx. 6V alkaline), but given their light weight and slick tires were still plenty of fun to drive around on a smooth surface, much like their real life counterparts.

Availability and Collectability
Unlike the earlier 8xAA models which are tough to find, these 4xAA variants are a few years younger and much easier to buy online, especially in decent boxed condition.
But are they collectable? To fans of NASCAR US motorsports these are one-of-a-kind collectors items from the era of Richard Petty and other greats, now almost 30 years ago. For others like myself, I like these Stockers because it's easier to find them in good condition without the ridiculous price tag that the 8xAA models can attract.
So if you're a fan of NASCAR, or just like a good quality Tyco R/C, these should be high on your list... before they become too popular.
