Oh... my gosh... that Devastator! I dream of having one like that. I thought i'd gotten it, paid a hefty price for one from the UK, but it arrived in pieces, the shell cracked into tiny bits. Devastated. Incredible collection, thanks so much for sharing here.

The Devastator is a really cool looking model. Mine wasn't perfect when I got it. A few cracks on the upper body part which I sorted out with glue. The chassis, suspension arms etc are all perfect luckily. Doesn't appear that it was used alot back in the day either. No issues with the gearbox thank god. The blue body and illuminous wheels really make it look striking.

The amount of jealousy I have right now is off the charts haha. One day I'll get one, one day! :)

 

They show up from time to time on eBay. Sometimes can be quite expensive. They were one of the last fast Tycos. Then there was the 9.6V Mutator which was kinda childish looking and slow. They never appealed to me so never added one to my collection.
