Tyco 9.6V Twin Turbo Ferrari 348

Hey friends!

Was helping my dad clean out his garage when we found one of these beauties, brand new in the original box! Can’t find a single blemish. Any idea what it’s worth? I couldn’t find any that had been sold online.

Thanks!

Oh my. This is a dream car. Can you get us some more photos? Especially straight-on (not at an angle) in good light of the top and sides of the box! Our existing photos of this car are blurry unfortunately.

Re: Valuation. Yeah no eBay sales I could find however I'd put this amongst the best of all Tyco models, the most desired. Currently I have that Top Tier at $350+USD however that was created 12 months ago, and these days it's probably more like $400USD+. Heck, an Eliminator or something went for $1500 a few months back, so it's tough to say. Ultimately it depends on who is available to buy when you list.

A tip for when/if you list on eBay. If you list Buy-It-Now for a high but still reasonable price (eg. $450USD) it will either sit there and not be sold because people feel they have no chance of scoring a bargain, or worse, it will be snapped up within hours and you could have asked for more. My recommendation is to list at auction for a low starting price, and use a reserve (assuming the option available on your eBay), and you'll find people competing against eachother and possibly going over your intended price. Alternatively join the Taiyo R/C Club on Facebook and post there asking for bids.

But yes, short answer is $400USD+ in my personal opinion.

Please oh please more photos so I can add them to our article as an example of a perfect item! ;-)
