TycoCollectors began as an archive to preserve the world of “toy grade” radio controlled models by Tyco RC and Taiyo RC from the 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, 2000s. This has since expanded into all Tyco Toys, as well as R/C cars from Radio Shack, Nikko R/C Systems, Metro RC and more.

Google seems to be unsure of what this is, so here is a description. Tyco Collectors is an encyclopedia, archive, and community of 1980s, 1990s, 2000s Toys, mainly focusing on Tyco R/C and Taiyo RC (Japan), but also including other brands from the era such as Nikko RC Systems, Radio Shack, Dickie Toys, and more. The aim of the site is to have detailed descriptions, photographs and specifications for all these vintage items, to help people locate how and where to buy them today, how to restore and fix them, and where to find like minded collectors all across the world. Every single page is hand written by one person, one page at a time, so it's taking years to document everything, but I'll get there eventually.
