The Taiyo Toyota MR2 Turbo is a remote control car released in Japan in 1986, based on the car of the same name.
It's well equipped, with 8xAA 9.6V 'Turbo' power, simply awesome pop-up headlights (how cool is that!), slick tires, obviously well modelled and licenced by Toyota, and with a top speed of 26km/h it's one of the fastest Taiyo models out there.
Considering its size, the features and power, this is one cool little model that I suspect any Taiyo / Tyco collector would love to have as part of their collection.
Unfortunately these are fairly rare online, but they do appear occasionally if you know where to look.

If you like this Toyota MR-2 pocket then I'd highly recommend the Tyco Ferrari F-40 which is a similar 9.6V slick tire pocket rocket that's heaps of fun to drive, and does donuts like a champ.
