For a Tyco Mini Typhoon II, you can see the remote you need on its product page, and tracking down one of these will be a matter of keeping an eye on eBay or your local equivalent. Thankfully this controller doesn't look unique to the Typhoon, it seems to be a very typical "Tyco is No 1" controller used by many different Tyco and Taiyo cars. Personally I'd take a gamble and buy any Tyco or Taiyo 27Mhz controller that looked the same as this, regardless of what model sticker it has on it. Alternatively you might find a poor condition Mini Typhoon II on eBay with a controller that you could snap up cheaply.

Thankfully this controller doesn't look unique to the Typhoon, it seems to be a very typical "Tyco is No 1" controller used by many different Tyco and Taiyo cars.
