Tyco Super Cliff Hangers was a electric racing slot car set manufactured by Tyco, and released into the US, UK, and other markets worldwide in 1994. It is a sequel to the original 1983 Tyco Super Cliff Hangers.
There are multiple ‘cliff hanger’ based sets available, including Nite-Glo, Ultra Cliff Hangers, and Zero Gravity Cliff Hangers which will be covered in their own articles.
Features
As the name implies, the core feature of this set is the “gravity defying” set pieces, namely the vertical wall climb, and the loop.
Unlike the 1983 version which came with Corvettes, the 1994 version was updated to the cool car of the day, the Lamborghini Countach, a car that would frequently appear in Tyco products well into the next decade.
The set came with 2 x Lamborghini Countach Magnum 440-X2 slot cars
Track and Layout
The track is entirely set around the wall climb and loop set pieces, for a total of 14 feet (4.2m) making for quite a short course in comparison to larger sets like Lamborghini Championship, however the important parts are there, and anyone wanting a longer track can easily extend.

The 1994 variant of Super Cliff Hangers is relatively common, and pricing at the time of writing is on the lower end compared with many other tracks.
