MODEL REVIEW

The Taiyo Radican Nissan Fairlady 432R is a miniature radio controlled car released in the Japanese market in 2004.

The model represents one of Japan's most priceless high performance production race cars, the Nissan Fairlady 432R, as described by RoadandTrack.com as 'The most valuable Z in the world'.

Collectability

All RadiCan cars are highly collectable and in demand, though some are more valuable than others, such as the three RadiCan DeLorean cars, together with the RadiCan Knight Rider car, and the Coca Cola Chevy cars, popular for their brand association.

The Fairlady 432R's value comes from it's rarity - the photos attached to this page are the only ones I've seen of this car in the wild.

To maintain value we'd recommend buying items with their shrink wrap still intact. This is much more possible with Radicans than any regular Taiyo / Tyco cars, though for a car that never seems to show up like the 432R, it may be too much to ask.

Performance

Collectable as they may be, performance-wise these radio control cars are average; not surprising given their size. With just 2xAA batteries (3V) their top speed is around 6km/h, though they are full function (forward, back, left, right) and nicely detailed. Some have extra features.

Availability and Collectability

With around 50 Radican models available, all becoming increasingly rare and difficult to find, it's a race between collectors around the world to complete their collection before it's too late. The Fairlady is still somewhat available from Yahoo Japan if you're patient, however supply is visibly less than only 12 months prior.
