The Taiyo Customax 4x4 Subaru Impreza WRC 2005 is a built-it-yourself remote control car released by Taiyo in 2004. Note that it's a model of the 2005 Subaru Impreza WRC, though it was released in 2004.
This model also has a successor, the Customax Subaru Impreza WRC 2006, both promoting the WRC World Rally Championships.

The CUSTOMAX 4x4 products were 2WD/4WD selectable, take 4xAAA batteries (6V), and have a 'Turbo' mode, with custom accessory packs to upgrade the motor and suspension.
As they were only released between 2004-2006 in Japan, they are incredibly rare and hard to come by, so if you see one, snatch it up quickly!
