The Tyco Super Duper Double Looper with Upside Down Jump is a slot car set manufactured by Tyco USA, and released into the US, UK, and other markets worldwide in 1991.

A sequel to the original 1979 Super Duper Double Looper set, it features several wild loops with a lengthy 31 foot track (9.5 meters), it's one of the larger out-of-the-box tracks available, though it makes good use of the space and has plenty of opportunity for speed.
Track Layout
As we can see from the photo (above), there are three key features on the Super Duper Double Looper.
- Two Single Giant 360 degree loops
Fairly standard for Tyco tracks, yet there's two of them squeezed into this set. - Super Duper Double Looper
An insane extra wide dual-lane loop with the top of the loop removed and the track spaced apart so that the cars fly through the air! Nuts! - Squeeze Track
As is popular with these tracks, an area where both tracks come too close to eachother, causing one car to be squeezed off and crash

Whew! This isn't a track I have in my collection yet, but I'm trying to figure out where exactly I can put it!
If anyone owns this, I'd love to know if cars often don't make it, or if the speed is always enough for them to make it across?

The track assembly manual (above) shows all the unique elements, and the overall size and layout of the track, it's highly involved with several corners and plenty of straights to gain speed.
Vehicles
Being a Tyco track produced in the late 80s / early 90s there's only one choice for the car inclusion, and that's the Lamborghini!
The Lamborghini Countach starred in perhaps a dozen Tyco toys over the years due to its status as a pop culture icon. The slotcars are based on a Magnum 440-X2 chassis, widely agreed to be the best Tyco would make in its lifetime and perhaps best of its generation, though the magnets on the underside did tend to scrape the track reducing overall speed to a degree, but most wouldn't notice since they are plenty fast as-is.
Original Magnum 440 cars had less magnets, so would be faster, but likely unable to complete many of the stunts.

Availability and Collectability
The Tyco Super Duper Double Looper with its insane inverted double loop jump is a huge set, with two Lambos, and lots of fast track. If you have the space, this is an incredible track to own, and I only wish I had a permanent setup in my house for my boys to race when they wanted. The fact it's just so large means setup is an ordeal, so you really do need a room or an area to keep it set for a while.
Availability is good, with sets appearing approximately once per month in reasonable condition, but yes it may take a while to get something pristine and 100% complete if that's what you're looking for.
