This Taiyo Nissan Fairlady 300ZX is a radio controlled car manufactured by Taiyo (Japan), and released into the Japanese, European, and other markets worldwide in 1990.
Concept
In 1989 Nissan released the fourth generation 300ZX, which came with a V6 engine and optional Twin Turbo. As a promotional move, the 300ZX would be used as the Pace Car at the Fuji Raceway (photo below), a design that Taiyo would later adopt for their version of the Nissan Fair Lady 300ZX. In my opinion the Taiyo model looks even better than the real thing!

Note: since there are very few photos of thos 1990 Taiyo version, I've used a photo of the 1992 Tyco Nissan 300ZX above, which is the same car.
Features and Performance
A simple 4xAA Powered model, the 300ZX has enough power for scooting around indoors on a smooth surface, and looks great enough to sit on a shelf as a static model even. Ultimately however this car was designed for kids to race at home.

Note: Tyco version shown due to lack of photos of the Taiyo, however I believe they are identical looking.
