This Taiyo Lamborghini Countach is a 4xAA powered radio control model released in 1987, released for the Global/European market.
Not to be confused with its 9.6V Turbo Monster cousin, this 4xAA version is much more tame and suitable for younger kids indoor play, and also makes a decent static model with its accurate reproduction of the legendary Countach.
Recommendation
Despite its small size and slower speed, this little Lamborghini is a worthy addition to any collection. Just don't mistake it for its 9.6V ften referred to as 'the wrong one' as it's a 4xAA version and not the 9.6V Turbo fire breathing variety. Still, it's a great model in its own right, and an excellent reproduction of the legendary Countach 500S.
Slicks warning
As with all Taiyo and Tyco products with 'slick' tyres, we'd recommend looking carefully at the tires before purchasing, as many of the slick tires have shown rubber rot issues over time, visible with a dull blotchy rubber surface.
