The Taiyo Customax 4×4 Nissan Pickup Paris-Dakar 2006 is a semi build yourself remote control car released in 2005.
I personally have just one unopened Customax 4×4, and let me tell you, trying to keep it New-In-Box and unopened is desperately hard. These things just look so incredibly cool, and I’ll have to open it up one day for a video on YouTube, and let my son put it together.
The CUSTOMAX 4×4 products were 2WD/4WD selectable, take 4xAAA batteries (6V), and have a ‘Turbo’ mode, with custom accessory packs to upgrade the motor and suspension.
As they were only released between 2004-2006 in Japan, they are incredibly rare and hard to come by, so if you see one, snatch it up quickly!
