While it may not compete with Taiyo's best cars and buggies, the Samurai is a unique, visually interesting, and fun toy to play with, and it's rarity and nostalgia factor make it a prize in any collection.

The Tyco Samurai is a radio control motorbike manufactured by Taiyo (Japan) and released into the US, UK, and other markets worldwide in 1996.
The western version of the Taiyo Ninja Racing Bike, the Samurai enhances the product (in our opinion) with Tyco’s incredible packaging and design, and 90s fluorescent colors.
As per photos, the model is larger than you might expect, and so 18km/h (11mph) isn’t too bad, especially for indoors. Just like the Ninja, it uses a gyro to self-balance, and so genuinely rides on 2 wheels like a real motorbike.

Recommendation
Whether you like the Samurai depends on your personal tastes, but for me the Samurai and Ninja was always one of those ones that just looks so darn cool. The 90s fluro and realistic motorcycle design, and especially this Tyco version with that incredible box art.
If you do get one, do yourself a favor and try to match it with a box too – sometimes they’re sold separately due to the obvious 90s art value.
