Performance

The chassis appears to related to the 1988 Super Turbo Hopper, with modifications.

Note: It has been reported that this Single-Motor version of the Max Turbo Blaster has magnetic steering, which while better than passive, isn’t as a good as active. 

Multiple release, same name

Taiyo first released a ‘Max Turbo Blaster’ in 1989 as model 8905. Over a year after writing this article, we’ve finally learned the difference. The 1989 model uses a Twin Turbo (2 Motor) chassis, incredible! See the article on that model here:
