MODEL REVIEW

The Taiyo Ferrari F-40 6xAA version was a radio control model released by Taiyo to the global market in 1989.

Not to be confused with these other F-40 versions:

A beautiful looking model with good power (6xAA) just short of the required 9.6V 8xAA for ‘Turbo’ designation, Made in Japan.

If you like the F-40, we recommend getting your hands on the 9.6V Turbo model if you can, absolutely one of my favorite RC cars ever made, a real pocket rocket. Failing that, this is probably your next best thing.

See the video of me unboxing the 9.6V Turbo version here.
