The Tyco Aero Jet Hopper Wild Thing is a set of two radio controlled cars, manufactured by Taiyo of Japan, and released into the US/UK and other markets worldwide in 1988.
It came in two variants:
– Aero Jet Hopper Wild Thing (2353-27)
– Jet Hopper Wild Thing (2353-49)
Both cars chassis are based on the Taiyo Super Jet II, with the Aero Jet Hopper Wild Thing (27Mhz) also looking just like the Super Jet, and the Jet Hopper Wild Thing (49Mhz) looking more like a mini Jet Fighter.
Performance
These are 6xAA cars, and so performance is better than the average cheap 4xAA RC car, though still nothing to knock your socks off. With decent suspension and overall dynamics, these can be fun cars to play with, especially for younger folk.
- Full Function
- 6xAA Batteries (up to 7.2V)
- 4 x Shock Absorbers
- 2 Speed Gearbox
- Air Filled Off-Road Tires
- Good build quality
