    MODEL REVIEW

    The Taiyo Micro Hopper is a miniature version of the Mini Hopper remote control car, released in 1988.

    As with all Taiyo and Tyco “Micro” cars, it will move forward and reverse with a 90 degree turn – no steering. Powered by 2xAA batteries, this is a toy for young children but still has that excellent Taiyo / Tyco build quality that we see in all their models.

    What’s unusual however is that the entire product including packaging, controller, and car is Made in Korea, the first time we’ve seen any Taiyo model manufactured in that country.
