MODEL REVIEW

The Dickie Jet Hopper MK3 is a radio controlled car manufactured by Taiyo, and released onto the German marked by Dickie Toys.

It is a localised version of the Taiyo Jet Hopper MK3, with top speed of 27km/h, and solid front and rear tyres.

Model number note: we cannot yet confirm the model number of the German MK3. Two numbers appear on the car, both which are misleading: 8635 stamped on the undercarriage which is the model of the original Jet Hopper MK1 Japanese version, and 8805 which is the Taiyo Porsche 962C. This is common with European variants, we believe in a tactic to limit the number of R/C transmitting devices Taiyo would need to register with authorities.

If anyone has a Dickie Jet Hopper MK3 box with a barcode or model number, please let us know! As such we’ll go with 8805 for now.
